Julian Kash, the #1 high school quarterback in the nation has played the final game of his high school career. The 6’3 200 lbs gunslinger has attracted the attention from almost all major D1 programs, recruiters around the country have came to his home of Orlando, Florida to see him play and even to watch him practice. ESPN has him rated as a 5 star recruit as well as a plethora of other websites.
The biggest pro’s of his game are his rocket arm combined with pinpoint accuracy, and surprising calmness in the pocket for such a young player. Of course no player is perfect and there has been concerns with his agility, speed, and overall ability to move out of the pocket, as well as some questions about his intelligence. When asked by our reporters about what he plans to focus on this off season he answered “I plan to work on everything honestly, I know they say that I’m not that mobile or that I need to work on reading the defense better, but I take a lot of pride in my skills, I approach every game, every training session with the same amount of intensity, so expect by the time the college season starts you will see no flaws in my game.
Julian played all 12 games of his senior year, finishing with 45 passing TD’s, 3,000 passing yards, and a QB rating of a solid 95. Julian proved he could lead his team to victory, torching the league going 11-1, losing to the highly acclaimed Dr Phillips program but nonetheless winning the schools 3rd state championship. In the playoffs they went 4-0 to win the schools 1st national championship, a feat that will have many college programs to believe that Julian is the type of quarterback that can win games on his own.
Julian Kash is a generational talent, but like with all other recruits who have come before him and all that will come after him, he’s gonna have to prove it on the football field in front of hundreds of thousands of fans who will criticize his every move. Julian has yet to announce the school he will be committing too but with no shortage of options he will have some heavy considering to do.
