JRD Player Agency First Clients Mulling Over Options

JRD Player Agency is a new agency looking to expand its client base going forward. For now they are representing WR Jeff Downey and CB Jarius St. Pierre.

Wide receiver Jeff Downey is a Canadian high school standout who is looking to break into the NCAA to make a name for himself and hopefully go pro in the future. The big-bodied Downey, standing at 6’4 and 215 lbs., is a big time red zone threat at the position. Any current college roster would be bolstered by having such a presence on their offense and his combination of size and speed could have him being an all-time great by the time he heads to the EFL. The current rankings for schools after his services are as follows:

1. :Michigan:      2. :Oregon:     3. N/A

Cornerback Jarius St. Pierre is coming out of Detroit, Michigan and is really hoping to make an immediate impact when joining a college program. As a two-way player in high school where he excelled at both wide receiver and cornerback St. Pierre has decided to try and make it as a lockdown cornerback in the NCAA. At 6’0 and 192 lbs. he definitely has the size to matchup with nearly any wide receiver in the league, the main question will be whether or not he can stay out of trouble long enough to have an impact. The current rankings for schools after his services are as follows:

1. :USC:     2. :Oregon:     3. :Michigan:

JRD Player Agency Announces Client Commitments

The JRD Player Agency is proud to announce that our first two clients – wide receiver Jeff Downey and cornerback Jarius St. Pierre – have come to final decisions on where they will be playing this upcoming season. Without further delay here are our clients to make their announcements.

Jeff Downey: ‘This whole process has been a great experience for me and my family. We were approached by multiple high-end schools and we had almost made out decision when Michigan’s newly appointed AD (@Uphillmoss) made a last second trip to my family’s home and sold me with his pitch. It definitely helped that I grew up as a Michigan Wolverine fan thanks to my dad. I would like to thank all of the ADs that showed interest in me and wish them all luck going forward.’

Jarius St. Pierre: ‘I came into this recruiting process hoping to stay close to home and maybe attend somewhere like Michigan. However when Miami’s athletic director (@AndrewWarren13) came to my hometown to make his pitch I was instantly sold on what their goals are for the next few years. I am hoping to be part of bringing back that well known University of Miami swagger from the past. The Hurricanes will win a National Championship while I play for them.’
