Freshman: Coming into my first high school season, I joined both the football and basketball team at IMG Academy. I was able to start on the basketball team, but my main reason for coming to the school was football. I didn’t play in any games football wise and thought about leaving. By the end of the year I was starting for the scout team. I decided against transferring after a talk with my dad and got ready for next year.
Sophomore: This year I came in extremely focused and ready to make some noise. I was able to throw in a couple of the teams blowouts, totaling to 524 yards, 8 touchdowns, and 3 interceptions. At this time I was starting to get some interest from college teams and people were seeing some of my potential. The qb was leaving for college the year after so I knew that I would have an opportunity to fight for the starting position.
Junior: Sources all around the country were expecting our team to end the season ranked first in the country and I was locked in a qb battle with a senior. It was a hard battle, but in the end I ended up winning and led to a 13-0 start. We had to win one last game to end the season as mythical national champions, but I threw an interception in the last minute of the 4th quarter to lose it for my team. Personally I had a great season, throwing for 4,304 yards, 35 touchdowns, and only 5 interceptions and I became a 5 star. Going into my senior year I knew I had one more chance to prove myself on the high school level and started to train with former EFL quarterbacks as well as qb coaches.
Senior: I kept my starting position easily and once again the team was expecting to finish ranked number one. I stopped playing basketball after my junior year to fully focus on football and I had the perfect end to my career. I threw for a team record 5,105 yards, 55 touchdowns, and 8 interceptions. This year we went 14-0, ending the season ranked #1, and instead of going to college I went to the ECFA to give myself the best chance at the EFL. And I’m playing for the Wraiths ready to make my mark.
