RedSus 0 Posted November 1, 2020 Share Posted November 1, 2020 Over the past few years, The presence of Canadian football players in both the NCAA and the EFL has gotten stronger and stronger, that momentum continues with the introduction of QB Dante Matthews. A Freshman plying his trade in Pennsylvania, Dante moved out of his home at 16 to pursue his dream of playing professional football. Dante is described by many scouts to be a physical specimen. At 6'3 and 191 lbs, Dante is a tall and slime QB with a surprising amount of athleticism. Dante can both throw and run with the ball has been lauded and praised for his ability to know which strengths to use in certain situations. Some weaknesses of his include his strength, which effects mainly his long range throwing ability. This slight however is not uncommon among young QB's and will only improve with time as he's bound to get stronger. At the moment, Dante has not been offered a NCAA contract as of just yet, but the question is a matter of when not if, as his talents are too good not to be noticed. As for early predictions of his NCAA career, he may be a backup QB for at least his first season. After that though you should expect to be starring for any team he's plays for. 217 words.
