5e52530c85f54048e937cbc8.jpgRon Burgundy in the snow!

He starts of with a 2:37 pace for 10:30 in the first lap. Nothing outstanding according to what we just saw in Semifinal 1, where 5 athletes were below 10 minutes in this very first lap.

Riley Carswell joins the race!

Ron Burgundy 1st Shooting: ⚪⚫⚫⚫⚪

Only two hits for the good of Ron. He hasn't had the best start, but remember that this is a race of endurance. There's more than enough time to turn things around!

Riley, following Ron's recently opened trail in the snow, is trying to take some seconds here, in the first lap, and she manages just fine.

At the first checkpoint, Riley Carswell -7 seconds.

Missing three is not easy to overcome, and with a pace of 3:32 Ron really needs to pick up his game NOW. He has arrived at the second checkpoint 1 second below what Siddhus His Sweet Sixteen did in semifinal 1.

HOF Alert! Lance Swift IV!

Ron Burgundy 2nd Shooting: ⚪⚫⚫⚫⚪

Riley Carswell 1st Shooting: ⚪⚪⚫⚪⚪

Retired professional football player and Hall of Famer Lance Swift joins the race! It'll be interesting to see how he manages in a different environment.

Ron continues worsening his expectations with another subpar shooting, while Riley shows she's solid with a gun too and solidifies her, so far, first place.

Lance decides to start with a cautious approach and sets a slow pace in the first lap. Tying with Ron in that sector. We need someone to break the race!

Having only missed once Riley continues the second lap with a lot of drive, and gets to the second checkpoint with almost a 2 minutes lead over Ron. All things said, that would've only been the 5th register in the first semifinal.

Ron has completely lost the face to the race, it's showing on his pace. Let's hope he can pick it up a bit. He gets to the 3rd Checkpoint just ahead of what Sidd and Nyko did in the previous race.

MM Flex looking to get into another Final!

Ron Burgundy 3rd Shooting: ⚪⚪⚪⚫⚪

Riley Carswell 2nd Shooting: ⚪⚪⚫⚪⚪

Lance Swift IV 1st Shooting: ⚪⚫⚫⚪⚪

We can all agree if MM Flex is good at something is qualifying to Finals. Will he be able today? we'll see.

Ron seems to pick up his ego a bit with a good shooting outing, same as Riley, that looks like is starting to solidify her candidacy in this event.

Lance could've done better but it's not the end of the world. He was a renowned athlete. He'll be able to run 300 meters extra.

MM starts a bit stronger than his peeps in the race, recording the first lap under 10 minutes at 9:53 and getting the first place ahead of Riley at the first checkpoint.

Swift, despite missing two, shoot at a faster pace than Riley and that gives him the edge when he arrives to the second checkpoint. -3 seconds for Swift.

Riley keeps pushing and the difference with Ron is already 2:59 when she gets to the third checkpoint. Closest comparison from the first race would be Tugg Bote, who finished 5h.

Burgundy pushes the pace a bit i doesn't look like it will be enough. Tough times.

Another football player! Mizzed Tackle!

Ron Burgundy 4th Shooting: ⚪⚪⚪⚪⚪

Riley Carswell 3rd Shooting: ⚪⚫⚫⚪⚪

Lance Swift IV 2nd Shooting: ⚫⚫⚫⚫⚪

MM Flex 1st Shooting: ⚪⚫⚪⚫⚫

The Minnesota Frontier star and current World Champion joins the race! Let's see how it goes to this prolific athlete.

Mwanwhile, Ron scores a perfect! That will make push him just enough to keep Sweet Sixteen and Niko Nax at a distance.

Riley misses two. uh oh... that's not ideal Riley. You're on the verge, no more mistakes!

Lance has a terrible outing out there, specially considering that he didn't rush the shots.

Flex also struggles in his first shooting, hitting just two. This race is not being very impressive so far.

Ron Burgundy finishes the race with a nice pace, propelled by his perfect in the last shooting. He took 1 hour, 6 minutes and 2 seconds. That would've been the 6th time in the previous semifinal. Let's see if it makes the cut here.

Ron Burgundy finishes with a time of 1 Hour, 6 minutes and 2 seconds.

Riley runs at a pace of 3:23 in this 4th lap, nothing outstanding. She is well ahead Ron, but the ones she has to beat may not have even started the race.

Lance needs to invest a good chunk of time and energy to pay for his 4 penalty laps, and that sets him back big time. He is 2nd so far at the third checkpoint, behind Riley but ahead of Ron.

Despite not having the best luck at hitting the targets MM is not wasting too much time there, and that paired to the pace he is setting has him 1st at the second checkpoint with 40 seconds over Riley, despite his 3 misses.

NOW this is another thing! Tackle finally breaks the race and posts a 9:37 in the first lap, 16 seconds less than Flex, and only bested by the 9:26 that Cunningham run earlier today.

Dropped Pass take the start!

Riley Carswell 4th Shooting: ⚫⚪⚪⚪⚪

Lance Swift IV 3rd Shooting: ⚪⚪⚪⚫⚫

MM Flex 2nd Shooting: ⚪⚪⚪⚪⚪

Mizzed Tackle 1st Shooting: ⚪⚫⚫⚫⚪

Riley is solid with 4 hits to just 1 miss and looks to finish strong and post a time good enough to qualify.

Lance is struggling with the aim today. Should he stick to football?

A perfect round for an MM Flex that already had the best time so far! Will be be able to build from this and maintain this pace?

Mizzed Targetz lol

Riley finishes indeed strong, with a 5th lap faster than her 4th, and a time of 1 hour, 2 minutes and 36 seconds. It would've been 6th in the Semifinal 1.

Riley Carswell finishes with a time of 1 Hour, 2 minutes and 36 seconds.

Swift must run 2 extra penalty laps and that makes 7 already, with one shooting to go. He reaches the 4th and last checkpoint at 50:18, a bit more than a minute behind Riley. We've seen bigger differences drop in the semifinal one, but he'll need a good shooting.

MM takes his perfect shoot-around and skis like a man on a mission. He arrives at 3rd checkpoint with the first time, more than 2 minutes ahead of Riley and with the would-be first time in the first semifinal.

Tackle is hurt by those misses and posts 23:11 at the second checkpoint. 4th in the race behind MM, Swift and Riley.

Dropped Pass definitely could've started a bit better. He skis the first 4 km at 10:39, worst of the day so far.

Randall SSSSSSSSStaubach!

Lance Swift IV 4th Shooting: ⚫⚫⚪⚪⚪

MM Flex 3rd Shooting: ⚪⚪⚫⚪⚫

Mizzed Tackle 2nd Shooting: ⚪⚫⚪⚫⚪

Dropped Pass 1st Shooting: ⚫⚪⚫⚪⚪

Another current EFL star here in Sweden today! Let's see what Randall can show.

Swift starts bad with two misses but he quickly recomposes himself and hits three straight in a last effort to make the cut.

Flex can't continue his previous excellence, but keeps shooting fast and furious.

Mizzed really needs to stop missing if he wants to make the Final. However it's also true that he's known for his legs, not for his eye. He can turn this around.

Dropped pass continues his improvable start with another improvable performance.

Last lap for Swift, he chokes bad at a pace of 3:37. He couldn't overcome so many penalty laps and was too tired to finish the job at the end.

Lance Swift IV finishes with a time of 1 Hour, 4 minutes and 46 seconds.

MM takes his two penalty laps and gets ready to face his last 8 km. The first 4 of those continue to impress, posting the best pace of the semifinal in the 4th lap at 3:08. He arrives at the 4th checkpoint with 46 minutes. Still the best time of all the participants in this race or the previous one.

Tackle runs at 3:23 in the third lap and finishes more than a minute over Riley for the 3rd spot at that point in the race.

Dropped Pass makes an average second lap at 3:05. Decent considering he missed two targets.

Staubach tries to be the third skier today to go below 10 minutes in the first lap, but he cames just short with 10:01. 3rd best register of the race.

Mizzed Tackle 3rd Shooting: ⚪⚪⚪⚪⚫

Dropped Pass 2nd Shooting: ⚫⚪⚪⚫⚪

Randall Staubach 1st Shooting: ⚪⚪⚫⚪⚪

Speedprone Aimbot! The second iteration of the Corporation OMG of Advanced Optics robots.

Flex can only hit two i his last outing, and it's a shame because he was on a record pace. Will he be able to keep it up despite this?

Tackle makes his best performance of the day. It's never too late to try to qualify!

Dropped Pass misses two, and it feels like it's getting complicated for him.

Staubach sets the tone early with 4 hits in his first action at the rifle.

?m=02&d=20181225&t=2&i=1338822935&w=780&MM Flex makes it! despite the 3 misses he sets a decent pace in the last lap and finishes the race in a record time of 59 minutes and 21 seconds. The first athlete to drop below an hour!

Mizzed Target finishes the 4th lap at 50:07, slightly below Lance Swift and Ron, but more than a minute above Riley and MM. he might need a miracle in the last lap.

Dropped Pass is not having his day at the rifle, and his first two laps were underwhelming, but it seems like he is finally picking up and gaining some momentum here, increasing a bit his pace.

Staubach profits of his nice shooting and second lap to arrive at the second checkpoint at just 21:26. Best time of the day at that point. Can he compete with Flex?

Aimbot starts strong and effortless, posting a 9:41 pace in the first 4 km, second best of the day just behind Tackle.

Dropped Pass 3rd Shooting: ⚫⚪⚪⚪⚪

Randall Staubach 2nd Shooting: ⚫⚫⚫⚫⚪

Speedprone Aimbot 1st Shooting: ⚪⚪⚪⚪⚪

Tackle couldn't get it done today. he finishes the race very tired, having done 9 penalty laps. he finishes with a time of 1 hour, 4 minutes and 44 seconds. Just 2 seconds better than Swift!

Dropped Pass is starting to look hot! 4 hits and a strong lap have him second at the 4th checkpoint! if he can hit those targets in the last shooting, he will be in the Final.

Staubach however has hurt a lot his chances missing these 4 targets. Luckily he hit the last one. A shame, because he was doing a magnificent race. Let's see if he can recover.

Aimbot is nothing short of fantastic from a prone position and with its batteries still full, he manages to get to the second checkpoint with the best register of all participants. 21 minutes.

Randall Staubach 3rd Shooting: ⚫⚪⚪⚫⚫

Speedprone Aimbot 2nd Shooting: ⚫⚫⚫⚫⚫

Wow, so many misses. Dropped Pass might've dropped his opportunity to qualify here, but the thing is his rivals' accuracy on the fourth has also been terrible. He finishes the race in 1 hour, 3 minutes and 4 seconds, taking the third spot.

Staubach continues missing, but we'll just say that his targets are dropping it. He arrives at the last checkpoint with the 3rd best time. He still has a chance.

Aimbot was not designed to shoot while standing, and it shows. However he uses a smart tactic here: if he has to miss, he'll miss as fast as possible. At the end of the first lap he has lost his first place. Aimbot trails 13 seconds to MM.

Speedprone Aimbot 3rd Shooting: ⚪⚪⚪⚪⚪

Staubach had a chance, but there's no way he's recovering from these four misses. He ends the race defeated, with a terrible 3:53 pace in the last lap and wondering why did he left Toronto.

Aimbot, on the other hand, precisely knocks target after target and continues skiing. One kilometer into the lap he overtakes MM for the temporary lead, and arrives at the 4th and last checkpoint 28 seconds ahead of him. The mman versus the machine, who will win?

Alright... he misses everything. But he does it so quick! Aimbot rushes to do his penalty laps and while doing so he loses the leadership of the event. MM beats him by 7 seconds when he finishes the penalty laps, but Aimbot shows whyscience is still undefeated and puts on a show in the last couple kilometers.

Aimbot finishes with a time of 58 minutes and 55 seconds!
