Take off my shoes and wash my hands. If you mean the non-routine stuff, then I'd probably say play guitar.

Ooh, this is a loooooong list of mentors and role models that I don't think I'd have time to name in a press conference.

 

5. How do you approach taking time off from work?

Greatly and deeply appreciated. There are some days where I'll go 19-21 days without a day off, so that's why I've come to value them so much.

 

6. What’s something an outsider wouldn’t know about your industry?

As a physician, I have basically 0 control over how much your healthcare costs. Sorry, but it's true: we're not money-grubbers like we're painted out to be.

 

7. Do you have a morning routine at work? If so, what it’s like?

Wake up about 2 hours before work, read on patients, get some coffee, work out, hygiene, go to work.

 

8. What’s your commute to work like?

Heh, really nice. I live 5 minutes from the hospital so I just walk there.

 

9. Are you able to work from home, and if so, do you enjoy it?

Nope! Hard to do clinic and in-hospital care without actually physically being there unfortunately.

Pretty quiet. I've been growing more and more tired of the whole Xmas thing, so it was fine.
