Hello everyone, and welcome to Miami, Florida, the home of this year's Season 36 EFL Championship. It's been a wild ride for both teams to get here, but here they are. While the 10-4 Neptune are favored, don't count out the Predators (8-6) in this one.

 

Miami, the defending champions, took a huge hit with age, with QB Ajax Cole IV headlining the decline, so GM @Wheaties made a bold move and signed IA QB Vince Carswell II, and boy has it paid dividends, as he led the league in passing yards (5151) and racked up 37 TDs to just 10 interceptions, while fellow IA RB Alexander Rivers has posted a superb 4.5 yards per carry and 11 TDs and WRs Trigger Colt and Brian Kirkland finished 1-2 in REC YDS (1589 and 1516). On defense, most of the individuals shined, but they finished 6th in points allowed. If they run up the score, they should be able to go back-to-back.

 

Meanwhile, Seattle barely squeaked into the playoffs ahead of the Frenzy and promptly blew out Minnesota to get here. All things rushing are their strong points, as they have the best rushing offense and 2nd best defense, and Tactique Marteau is efficient (102.1 QBR) albeit sparingly used, finishing 2nd last in passing yards. If they can keep Miami's offense under check, they could really make this a competitive ballgame.
